SKUPSKI WINS FOURTH DOUBLES TITLE

Lancashire's Ken Skupski and partner Colin Fleming won the doubles title in November at the €30k Challenger in Jersey. Skupski and Fleming justified a wildcard selection by notching their fourth consecutive title together. In recent weeks, the British pair has claimed victories in Glasgow, London and Sunderland, beating Ivan Cerovic and Daniel Danilovic in the final on each occasion.

In Saturday's final, Fleming and Skupski eased past Australian Chris Guccione and Brazilian Marcio Torres 6-3 6-2. This week's doubles world rankings see Fleming jump 283 places to No 422 while Skupski has risen to No 241.
In the women's $10k event at the same venue, Elizabeth Thomas (Lancashire) and Tara Moore (Yorkshire) reached the doubles final losing to Dutch No 1 seeds Danielle Harmsen and Kim Kilsdonk 6-7(4) 4-6.
